The 3rd Erasmus + Grant, UNISSULA collaborates with HUAS The Netherlands

Universitas Islam Sultan Agung  (UNISSULA) again received the Erasmus+ Grant in the field of Staff and Student Mobility for the period 2019-2021. This grant is the third time for UNISSULA to work on this field. In contrast to the two previous editions, this year UNISSULA collaborated with Hanze University of Applied Sciences (HUAS) Groningen, the Netherlands. In this program UNISSULA will be able to sent 3 lecturers and 4 students to to HUAS. On the other hand, HUAS has an alotment of 2 lecturers to be sent to UNISSULA. All mobilities will be funded by Erasmus+ Grant.

The program officially began in February 2020 which was marked by the arrival of 2 HUAS lecturers at UNISSULA. They are Prof. Floris Boogard and Prof. Eric de Boer. The two experts participated in various activities at UNISSULA on February 11th-15th, 2020. Their agenda were general lectures and International Symposium with undergraduate and graduate students, discussion of learning and research trends with all lecturers in Faculty of Engineering, field visits related to flood control in Pekalongan, Tegal, and Jepara City as well as the FGD agenda with the UNISSULA Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM).

With the commencement of the Staff and Student Mobility program, it is expected to be able to increase the productivity of partnership between UNISSULA and HUAS which leads to improving the quality of Tridharma (teaching, research, and community service) implementation at UNISSULA and increasing the competitiveness of UNISSULA graduates to contribute in the international scale.
